Neeja Boyd, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Neeja Boyd is a member of Opaskwayak Cree Nation and was born and raised in Treaty 4 territory. She completed both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees through the University of Regina and is a Registered Social Worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.
Neeja brings nearly 20 years of social work experience supporting youth, adults, and families across a variety of settings, including clinical mental health, education, addictions, youth probation, and community outreach. She has extensive experience working with young people experiencing complex challenges and is especially skilled at connecting with teens who may feel hesitant, guarded, or difficult to engage.
Neeja works from a trauma-informed and intersectional lens, recognizing how identity, relationships, systems, and lived experiences shape mental health and wellbeing. She incorporates Medicine Wheel Teachings into her work and believes healing involves supporting the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of wellness.
Known for her warm personality and strong sense of humour, Neeja strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely understood. She enjoys working with both teens and adults and values building authentic, supportive therapeutic relationships.
