Alison Lewis, M.Ed. R. Psych (Provisional)

Registered Psychologist

Alison holds a Bachelor of Human Justice and Psychology (2000) and a Masters in Education Psychology with a focus on counselling and assessment (2020), both from the University of Regina. Alison currently focuses much of her practice on comprehensive psychoeducational and mental health assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. With over 25 years of experience, Alison has worked with children, adolescents, and adults across community, clinical mental health, and educational settings.

 

Alison has a special interest in supporting individuals with ADHD and those navigating separation and divorce. Her extensive experience in these areas includes working as a Parenting Coordinator for the Ministry of Justice. Alison is dedicated to empowering her clients through evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive therapies.

Her therapeutic toolkit includes: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.

 

Alison is known for her warm, caring, and empathetic approach. She creates a welcoming and collaborative environment for clients to explore their challenges and barriers in a safe, supportive space.
